Ghost Tour of Philadelphia
Take one of the oldest ghost tours in the country and the original Philly Ghost Tour. The tour is led by a costumed storyteller who will take you through Independence Park and Society Hill.
This tour has it all; ghostly spirits, haunted houses, eerie graveyards and mysterious gardens make this candlelit tour even scarier when you learn about the events that took place in this historic city.

Terror Behind the Walls at Eastern State Penitentiary

Eastern State Penitentiary
When Halloween rolls around, Eastern State Penitentiary becomes even more terrifying with the addition of six new attractions:
Infirmary – Some people have a fear of hospitals but this new, highly interactive attraction will take your fear to another level.
Blood Yard – The prison yard usually isn’t filled with the most wholesome folks but Blood Yard is guaranteed to give you a fright.
Quarantine 4D – You won’t know what’s real and what’s not in this immersive scare.
Break Out! – Watch out for escapees around every corner, they may even try to recruit you for help!
Machine Shop – Deep inside the prison lies a Machine Shop, with some seriously twisted work going on.
Lock Down – The inmates have started a riot and the guards have lost control, the tables have turned and it’s not looking good for the guards.
If you’d like to just visit the penitentiary, it’s plenty scary during the daytime, you’ll learn about the prison’s former inmates and their crimes. It’s one of the most visited buildings in Philadelphia and well-known prisons in the United States.

Grim Philly Twilight Tours
The tours stem from extensive research done by Professor Joe Wojie, who dedicated himself to learning about Philadelphia’s lesser-known and dark history.

If you want a change of pace, visiting Philadelphia’s Adventure Aquarium is a great choice.
This is the only aquarium in the world where you can see hippos, the largest collection of sharks on the east coast of the United States, and the only US aquarium where you can see a hammerhead shark.
In addition to seeing animals, you’ll get to explore seven unique touch exhibits where you can get up close and personal with sharks, stingrays, and take your time exploring the aquarium’s 14 interactive and immersive exhibits.

Old City Fest
October 7, 2018
Old City Fest is a celebration of art, design, food, culture, and lots more. In the streets of America’s most historic square mile, there will be fun for all ages including a festival stage with music, fashion shows, and other performances.
Over 25 food vendors will be in attendance, with all kinds of cuisine to try. As Old City is known as being the city’s hub for artists and other creatives.
Getting In: Old City Fest is free to attend, food and drink is pay-as-you-go.
